International Desk: US President Joe Biden presented various arguments in his closing speech before the US midterm elections.

He said that Republican victory in the election could weaken US democratic institutions and reverse many of the US achievements under him.
"Today we stand at a turning point," President Biden said in an address to a crowd at historic Bowie State University outside Washington on Monday. We know very well that our democracy is at risk and we also know that it is now your time to protect it.

Reuters says Biden's comments reflect the deep political divide in the United States ahead of the election in November 8.

US President Joe Biden warned the voters just before the vote. He even commented that US democracy is at risk.
