Sun News Desk: The price of sugar in the country has been increased by Tk 6 per kilogram and palm Oil Super has been reduced by Tk 8 per liter. From now, loose sugar has been fixed at Tk 90 and packaged sugar at Tk 95,

Tapan Kanti Ghosh, senior secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, informed the media on Thursday.
He said that today's meeting it has been decided that the high price oil in the market should be sold at the previous price. Now the oil that will go to the market will be sold at a lower price of Tk14 per liter. And the prices of sugar and palm oil have been revised. The association will publish the notification by this afternoon.

He also said that according to the new price, palm oil super has been reduced by Tk 8 per liter to Tk 125, which was previously sold at Tk 133 per liter. At the same time, the price of sugar has been increased by Tk 6 to Tk 90 per kg for open sugar and Tk 95 for packaged sugar.
