Alcohol and weapons recovered from Irfan Selim's house

DHAKA: Illegally stored foreign wine and beer from the home of Dhaka 7 MP Haji Selim's son Irfan Selim has been recovered. A large quantity of walkie-talkies, electronic devices and a weapon were also recovered from his bedroom.

The rescue operation was carried out under the leadership of RAB Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam. The campaign is still going on. RAB sources have confirmed this information.

Wasif Ahmed Khan, a naval officer, was beaten on Sunday (October 25th) night after getting out of a government vehicle with MP Haji Mohammad Selim's 'Member of Parliament' written on it. The incident took place near Kalabagan signal in the capital. Despite the GD incident at night, a case was filed against seven people, including Haji Selim's son, on Monday (October 26) morning.

"After Irfan's car hit Wasif, he stopped the motorcycle on the side of the road and stood in front of the car and introduced himself," the statement said. Then the accused started saying together from the car, 'I am taking out your navy / army, I am taking out your lieutenant / captain. I will kill you now, 'he said, punching and insulting my wife.

'They beat me and left me in a bloody state. Later, my wife, local people and the traffic police officer of Dhanmondi police station on duty rescued me and took me to Anwar Khan Model Hospital.

A total of five criminal offenses have been mentioned in the case. The offenses are: criminal use of force against a person as a member of an illegal assembly under section 143 of the Penal Code, illegal control of a person under section 341, injury to obstruct the work of a government official under section 332, force on a government official under section 353 and death under section 506. Threatening.

RAB arrested Erfan Selim in a raid on Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, the court has ordered to remand Haji Selim's driver Mizanur Rahman for one day. The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sufian Mohammad Noman passed the order.
