Staff reporter : A youth was killed in a gas leakage blast on the ground floor of a building at Badda in Dhaka Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Solaiman, 35, a hotel worker.
Solaiman was in front of the building when the blast occurred.

Abu Jafar Hawladar, Sub Inspector of Badda Police Station, said the incident took place on road no. 4 at DIT area in Badda at 6:43am. The road digging work was going on in the area at that time.
Legal action will be taken after investigation, said the police official.
