Staff reporter : The government has decided to reduce the price of soybean oil by Tk 10 per liter in the country's market. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Task Force on Review of Commodity Prices and Market Situation.

The meeting was held on Tuesday in the meeting room of the Ministry of Commerce. After the meeting, Commerce State Minister Ahsanul Islam Titu issued this information.
Importers and refining mill owners have decided to reduce this price. The new price will be effective from March 1.

As per the new rate, the price of a litre of soybean oil will be Tk 163 from Tk 173 now. Similarly, open soybean oil will be retailed at Tk 159.
Earlier, the price of bottled soybean oil was Tk 173 per liter at the consumer level, now it has been reduced by Tk 10 to Tk 163.

Similarly, open soybean oil was Tk 169 earlier. It has been reduced by 10 taka to 159 taka.
