Staff reporter : A couple was killed in a road accident at Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Abbas Ali, 70, and his wife Hajera Khatun, 60, both were hailed from Kalmegha area under Sakhipur upazila in Tangail district.
Shah Kamal Akanda, Bhaluka Police Station officer-in-charge, said the duo faced the tragic accident while they were going to visit their grandchild's house at Amtali area in Bhaluka. On the way, a bus ran over them when trying to cross a the road, leaving them dead on the spot.

On information, police have recovered the body and legal actions were being taken in this regard, added the OC.
