Staff reporter : The retail price of soybean oil has been increased by Tk 4 per litre. Besides, the price of unpackaged soybean oil has been reduced by Tk 2 to Tk 147 per litre.

Commerce Ministry took decision after a meeting with Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association today.

State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu came up with the information while briefing media at his secretariat office.

Now, per liter soybean oil will be sold at Tk 167. The new price will be effective from Friday (April 19).
