Own Reporter: A total of 9 banks, including four state-owned banks, are in the red zone. The fragile financial condition of the banks has come to the fore. Apart from this, 29 banks are in yellow zone and 16 banks are in green zone.

According to Bangladesh Bank report, the red zone banks are - Bangladesh Commerce Bank, Basic Bank, Padma Bank, National Bank of Pakistan, National Bank, Agrani Bank, Janata Bank, Rupali Bank and AB Bank.
The green zone indicates good performance in terms of the index and the intermediate position is indicated by the yellow zone.

The report has been prepared by the Financial Stability Department of the Central Bank based on the half-yearly performance of the country's banking sector.
