Own Reporter: Health Minister Dr. Samant Lal Sen said that in the first 6 months of the current financial year, medicines worth 5900 crores 54 lakhs 56 thousand 903 rupees have been exported.

He gave this information in a written reply to a question of A-League MP Anwar Hossain Khan in the session of National Parliament on Tuesday (February 13).
Dr. Samant Lal Sen said that almost all types of medicines produced in Bangladesh are exported to 157 countries around the world including Europe and America. In the current financial year (2023-2024) till last December, approximately 5 thousand 954 lakh 56 thousand 903 rupees of medicines have been exported.
