Sun News Desk: Two persons were killed after sinking in water in Thakurgaon district on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Sri Sadhad Kumar, 7, and Maha Rani, 5, two children are of Shri Dayal Chandra Barman of Chameshwari area of Senua Union, Sadar Upazila.
Dayal Chandra said that in the morning, I and my wife go to work in the field. We took our 2 children with us. we were working, two children suddenly fell into the pond while playing. We searched a lot and found them in a pond. They were floating being dead in the pond. Later, family members recovered their bodies from the pond.

Sohail Rana, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ruhia Police Station said that after receiving the information, we went to the spot and there was no complaint. The body was handed over to the family.
