2 killed as bus hit bike

Sun News Desk: Two people were killed when a bus hit the motorcycle in Jokiganj, Sylhet on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Mehdi, 30, son of Hossain Ahmed, a resident of Sutargaon in Kanighat and assistant teacher of Kanighat Government High School, and Rahad, 29, son of Bulbul Mia, a Saudi resident of the same area. They are both cousins.

Dilip Kant Nath, Jokiganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation), said that two motorcyclists died on the spot after being hit by a passenger bus leaving Jokiganj for Sylhet in the afternoon. After receiving the information, the police recovered the body. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
