Sun News Desk : Two workers have been killed as a truck hit them in Barishal on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Habib, 35, a resident of BSCIC area in the city and Yunus, 50, from Bhola district. They both used to fill sand.
Mostafizur Rahman, Kaunia Police Station inspector (investigation), said a sand-laden truck hit two workers in Hazera Khatun School adjacent area of West Kaunia around 12:30 am, leaving them dead.

The truck was seized but its driver managed to flee, he added.
