Sun News Desk : Three were killed in an explosion of a rice mill boiler at Daspara village in the Sadar upazila of Thakurgaon on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Deepti Das, 40, wife of Sagor Das, his daughter Puja, 11 and Palak Das, 12, son of Umakanto Das of Daspara village.

Eyewitness source said the rice mill boiler exploded due to excessive heat.

Abu Hannan Mohammad Hannu, Chairman of Rahimanpur Union Parishad, said the people who are responsible for the incident will be brought under law after investigation.

Feroz Wahid, Officer-in-charge of Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station, confirmed the matter.
