Sun News Desk: Two people were killed when a covered van hit the motorcycle in Dhanbari upazila in Tangail on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Motaleb Hossain under Bhangura police station in Pabna and Zahid Hasan of Hatibandha village in Dhanbari upazila. They used to work in private development organizations (NGOs).
Idris Mia, Dhanbari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation), said when a covered van from Dhaka to Jamalpur reached Darirampur area, its wheel burst. At that time the covered van lost control and overturned on a motorcycle coming from the opposite side. When the covered van hit them, two riders of the motorcycle were killed on the spot.

He also said that legal action will be taken in this incident.
