Sun News Desk : At least 4 garment workers were killed in a bus crash in Basan Thana area of ​​Gazipur on Saturday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Locals said that a passenger bus of Mymensingh-bound Beroa Basumti Transport hit a fish van around 8:30am on Saturday parked on the side of the highway at Telipara area. Three people were killed on the spot and another one died on the way carrying to the hospital.

Malek Khosru, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Basan Thana, said We have recovered the dead bodies of four people after getting information. Efforts are being made to arrest the vehicle in this incident. We are not sure that locals said about the death of another person. He also said that further legal process is ongoing in this incident.
