Sun News Desk: Three workers have been killed after the roof of Ekata Rice Mill collapsed in Tangail.

The accident took place at Dubail area in Gopalpur of Tangail around 10pm on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Arif, 27, son of Bachchu Miah, Nurul Islam, 35, son of Karim Molla and Nayeemul Islam, son of Nur Mohammad. They are the inhabitants of Kurigram.

Dr. Alim Al Razi, Gopalpur Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, said that two died before bringing to the hospital. The others died immediately after being brought to the hospital.
Mosharaf Hossain, Officer-in-charge of Gopalpur Police Station, said the roof of the rice mill collapsed when the workers were working there. The death toll might be increased. The members of the fire service are working to rescue the people.
