Sun News Desk: Some 90 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue fever in and outside the capital of Dhaka in the last 24 hours until early Friday.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Friday (September 2).
With this, a total of 776 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals.
Out of them, 652 are being treated at the facilities of Dhaka while 124 are in other divisions.

As per the release, a total of 6,447 dengue patients were hospitalized across the country today since January 1 this year.
To date, 22 people died of dengue during the period while 5,648 out of the hospitalized patients recovered.
