District reporter : Three people have been killed after a truck hit their motorcycle on the Satkhira-Khulna highway at Satkhira Sadar upazila early Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Arizul Gazi, 28, son of Akbar Ali Gazi, of Jashore's Jhikargachha upazila; Asadul Islam Fakir, 55, of Satkhira's Tala upazila; and Abdus Selim, 35, son of Abdul Aziz of the same (Tala) upazila.
Two bodies recovered from the spot and one at Sadar Hospital, said Sadar Police Station SI Bishwajit Sarkar.

He also said a speeding truck ran over a motorbike, leaving a biker and two pillion passengers killed on the spot at Binerpota BSCIC area on the highway in the early morning.
