11 dengue patients die

Sun News Desk : At least 11 dengue patients died and 1,802 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Thursday.

Currently, 7,145 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 2,022 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 5,123 are in other divisions.

As many as 2,62,631 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 2,54,180 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
