Sun News Desk : At least 9 dengue patients died and 2,056 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Sunday.

Among the new patients, 500 admitted to the hospital in the capital and rest are outside it.

According to DGHS data, 7,677 dengue patients were undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country yesterday morning.

A total of 246,114 patients have so far been released from hospitals across the country this year.
