Sun News Desk : At least 3 dengue patients died and 742 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Sunday.

Three dengue patients died and 742 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours.

Currently, 2,970 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 855 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 2,115 are in other divisions.

As many as 3,13,706 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 3,09,104 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
