Sun News Desk: One person died in a fire in Srinagar of Munshiganj district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Kausar (23). He is the son of village Nazrul Islam.

According to local people, fire broke out in the tin shed house of the deceased Kausars around 3:30 am. He was asleep at the time. Seeing the fire, the people of the house shouted for him, but he could not come out from the house. On information, Srinagar fire service personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control around 4:30 pm. Kausar's burned body was recovered from the house.

Mahfuzur Rahman, Srinagar Fire Service Station Officer, said that a young man died in a tin shed fire. The youth's entire body was burnt in the fire. Initially, it is believed that the fire may have started from an electrical short circuit.
