Sun News Desk: One person was hacked to death over land dispute at Bagmara, Rajshahi on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Jahanara Bibi.
It is known that a few days ago, his nephew Esrail Hossain broke the panbarj of Hanif Uddin Mongla due to the dispute over land. Since that incident, there was a dispute between the two parties.

On Wednesday morning, Hanif Uddin Mongla's wife Jahanara Bibi along with her son Mahabur Rahman Mamun were going to her daughter's house on a motorcycle when 8-9 persons led by Esrail Hossain, Abdul Quddus, Tarek, Zainal and Alauddin attacked them and injured them with knives and sharp weapons. Local people rescued mother and son in critical condition and admitted them to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. Jahanara died on Thursday morning while undergoing treatment there.
Aminul Islam, Police Station OC, said efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
