Two students killed in Ctg

Sun News Desk : Two students were killed after being hit by a truck on Akhtaruzzaman Flyover in Chattogram on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Al Imran Efti, 23, son of Yunus Molla, a resident of Darogar Hat area of Sadar upazila, and his friend Nahida Sultana, 21, daughter of Rasel Chowdhury, from Chakaria upazila of Cox's Bazar district. Both were students of Chattogram Government City College.

Santosh Kumar Chakma, Khulsi Police Station, said the accident took place around 10:30 pm when Efti lost control over the steering of the bike and hit a truck from its behind, leaving the duo critically injured.

They were rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared them dead on arrival, he added.
