Sun News Desk : Police recovered the bodies of woman and her three-year-old son hanging from a single rope in Cumilla's Homna on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Sazida Akter, 22, wife of Babu, a resident of Fakirpara and her son Md Abdullah.
Police recovered the bodies at about 11:30am from Fakirpara area under Bhasania Union.

Homna Police Station OC Saiful Islam said locals found the hanging bodies in the morning and informed police. Later, a police team went to the scene and sent the bodies to Cumilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police, however, detained Sazida Akter's husband Babu from the spot and brought him to the police station for interrogation.
