Sun News Desk : Police recovered the body of a young man from the Arial Khan river in Madaripur on Tuesday.

The identity of the youth was not known yet.

It was learnt that local people spotted the body of the young man floating on the water of the river in Purba Rasti area and informed police.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Madaripur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Madaripur Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Monwar Hossain Chowdhury confirmed the matter.
