Sun News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) focus on ensuring peace and stability in the lives of people around the world.

The Prime Minister will address the 77th session of UNGA in New York, USA on Friday September 23 afternoon (local time).
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said in a press briefing to journalists about the Prime Minister's activities on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session.

AK Abdul Momen said the Prime Minister will focus on multilateralism in her speech. We will emphasize on peace and will say that the best way out of any conflict is through dialogue and peaceful resolution.
He said that Sheikh Hasina will also mention that Bangladesh has dealt with the Covid-19 pandemic very well and Bangladesh is among the top countries in the world dealing with the pandemic.

Despite the pandemic, Bangladesh has achieved considerable economic success and the Prime Minister will highlight the steps what Bangladesh has taken to achieve this.
The foreign minister said, we have given various incentive packages and will also feature them there. Besides, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also highlight the climate problem in her speech.
He said, we always say that we have to save the world and the thing that is needed to save this world and global temperature should not exceed 1.5 degrees Celsius.

AK Abdul Momen said, "We are not seeing the implementation of the Paris Agreement which was supposed to give 100 million dollars every year to save the world."
The foreign minister said that the Awami League government is giving houses to the landless across the country. We give people a home and a life. We will show the world that we have done a great job.
The main focus of Bangladesh is that the country wants peace. He pointed out that peace and stability are most needed for common people.
