Sun News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has invited US President Joe Biden to visit Bangladesh. The Prime Minister attended a reception at the American Museum of Natural History On Wednesday (September 21) evening in honor of the heads of state and government who came to New York to participate in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly organized by US President Joe Biden.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina invited US President Joe Biden to visit Bangladesh at the reception. Later, Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen confirmed the matter in a press briefing at the Hotel Lotte, New York Palace.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended the reception hosted by US President Joe Biden yesterday (Wednesday) evening.

Abdul Momen said that both the leaders talked about various issues, but the foreign minister did not immediately say anything in details about what they talked about.
Besides, the Prime Minister went to the United States on September 23 to attend the United Nations General Assembly session. The Prime Minister will address the 77th session there on September 23. Later, on September 24, she will attend the civic reception of expatriate Bangladeshis.

Earlier, the Prime Minister went to New York from London last Monday to attend the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. In London, she attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
