Sun News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived New York in USA. A VVIP chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage members landed at New York JFK International Airport on Monday.

Bangladesh Ambassador in United States Muhammad Imran and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations Muhammad Abdul Muhith received the Prime Minister at the airport. She will attend the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Besides, the Prime Minister will attend the reception hosted by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the 77th opening ceremony of the UN General Assembly on September 20. Later, the Prime Minister will also attend the reception hosted by US President Joe Biden.

On September 21, the Prime Minister will join the High Level Sustainable Housing Program organized by Bangladesh, Botswana, Slovak Republic and the United Nations. Later, she will visit the photo exhibition on the Padma Bridge at the United Nations Headquarters.
The Prime Minister will attend a breakfast meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) on 22 September and will have a courtesy call on IOM Director General Antonio Vitorino. She will attend a high-level roundtable meeting of the US-Bangladesh Business Council. Later, she will meet with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Teko Hun Sen and ICC Prosecutors Nick Clegg and Karim Khan.

On September 23, the Prime Minister will address the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. On September 24, She will attend the civic reception of expatriate Bangladeshis.
She will then leave New York for Washington DC and stay there until October 2. Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to return home on the morning of October 4 after a brief stopover in London.
