Sun News Desk: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal has been infected with Coronavirus.

The EC himself imformed this information on Thursday September 15.
As Habibul Awal is infected with Corona, Election Commissioner, Md. Ahsan Habib Khan, will perform routine duties of CEC in his absence.

According to EC sources, the Commission will issue an order in this regard on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, the EC published the 'Work Plan for the 12th National Parliament Election Ceremony' at the Agargaon Election Building in the capital. Habibul Awal was supposed to be present as a chief guest at the ceremony. Later, It was informed that he could not join the event due to illness.
