Sun News Desk : Five dengue patients died and 678 were admitted to different hospitals accross the country during the past 24 hours.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Tuesday.
During the period, a total of 429 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city and 249 were admitted to different hospitals outside it.

It said a total of 61 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year while 14 patients died in the first four days of July.
A total of 9,871 patients were admitted to hospitals from January 1 to July 4 and now 1,669 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the country.
