Sun News Desk : One dengue patient died and 201 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country .With the new death, a total of 28 people died this year.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Wednesday.

Currently, 806 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 667 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 139 are in other divisions.

A total of 3,802 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 2,968 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
