Sun News Desk : Two dengue patients died and 134 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours in the country.

With the latest death, a total of 21 people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said today.
Some 506 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 437 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 69 are in other divisions.
As many as 2,854 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 2,327 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
