Sun News Desk: A motorcycle riding husband and wife were killed when a bus hits them on the connecting road at the Bangabandhu Bridge in Tangail on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Asiul Islam Sabuj, 30, son of Amirul Islama at Bagatipara upazila of Natore and his wife Osra Khatun Shobha, 26, daughter of Ayyub Ali at Ishwardi upazila of Pabna.
Shariful Islam, Bangabandhu Setu East Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI), said that the deceased couple was going home from Dhaka on a motorcycle. When they reached Analiyabari on the highway at around 7:30 pm, an unidentified vehicle hit them. They died on the spot.
