Cameroon made history defeating Brazil

Sports Desk: Cameroon created a new history by defeating the five-time world champion Brazil in their last match in the 'G' group at the Qatar World Cup. However, the African country had to leave before the knockout stage due to being behind in the points list.

Brazil faced Cameroon in the last match of Group G at the Lucille Stadium on Friday. Brazil attacked Cameroon's defense from the beginning of the match. However, despite repeated attacks, the Selesaora were defeated. Cameroon has tied more than 28 attacks of Brazil in the whole match. However, the match was heading towards a draw.

After 1998, Brazil lost to Norway in the group stage of the World Cup for the last time. After that, Cameroon broke Brazil's record of 17 unbeaten runs in the group stage.

Cameroon is the only country to have beaten Brazil in three major sporting events. Olympic Games in 2000, FIFA Confederations Cup in 2003 and now World Cup in 2022.
