Sports Desk: Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina 2-1 in their first match in Qatar World Cup.

The game was played at Qatar's iconic Lusail Stadium on Tuesday (November 22).
At the beginning Messi's Argentina attacked, one of his shot was blocked by the goalkeeper Weiss. However, he could not return his penalty in 10 minutes. With Messi's goal, Argentina started to be more aggressive in attack.

In the 22nd minute, the Albiceleste got the ball into the net once again. However, Messi's great finish did not result in an offside cut. Lionel Scaloni's team has scored twice more in the Saudi net. Offside stood in the way of Argentina's goals both times.
Argentina could not finish the game in the first half. They paid for it in the second half. After the break, Saudi Arabia seemed to shake its head. Saudi forward Saleh Alsehri scored a goal within three minutes.

The Saudi team scored again in 53 minutes. Striker Salem Al Dawsari scored a great goal to give Saudi Arabia a 2-1 lead.
Argentina started the World Cup in Qatar with a 2-1 defeat against Saudi Arabia after failing to score any goals in the second half.
