The recovered bodies among 15 are Brozendra Nath (55), Jharna bala (50), Dwip Babu (10), Suchitra Rani (22), Kabita Rani (50), Bezobala (50) and Dwipshikha Rani (10).
Earlier, the bodies of 24 people were recovered. They are Poly Rani (14), Lakshmi Rani (25), Amal Chandra (35), Shobha Rani (27), Deepankar (3), Priyanth (3), Khuki Rani (35), Pramila Rani (55), Tara Rani (24), Shoneka Rani (60), Falguni Rani (55), Pramila Rani (70), Dhano Bala (47), Sumitra Rani (57), Sophlat Rani (40), Shimla Rani (35) Hasan Ali, ( 52), one-year-old children Ushoshi, Tanushree and Shreyashi.

After the incident, hundreds of people gathered in the Aulia Ghat area of Madea Bamanhat. There are many relatives of the victims among them who are wailing on the banks of the river.
According to local sources, on the occasion of Autumn Durgotsava Mahalaya, the shallow engine boat was going to Badeshwari Temple with about 150 people from Aulia Ghat in Madeya Bazar area. After going some distance from the terminal, the boat sank in the area of Aulia ghat.
Subas Chandra Roy of Bamanpara area said I was also in the boat. There were more than 150 passengers on the boat. After we boarded and water started entering the boat. At that time, people started rushing inside the boat. Water was entering the boat on the side. We were five friends. Somehow I swam to save my life. Other passengers were hugging each other and begging to be saved. I cannot describe that extreme moment.

Some eyewitnesses of the incident said there were a crowd of people at the terminal since morning on the occasion of Mahalaya. The boat overturned in the middle of the river due to overcrowding. Those who knew how to swim managed to swim to the shore, but the women and children in the boat drowned. After the incident, people rushed and started rescue operations. They also rescued many people. Then the local administration and fire service were informed.
Tushar Kanti Roy, Panchagarh Fire Service and Civil Defense Station Officer, said three diving units of Rangpur, Kurigram and Rajshahi are doing rescue work. Rescue operations will be conducted up to 30 km Based on past experience and the flow of the river, it seems that none of the victims are at the scene of the accident. Our efforts will continue to rescue every victim.
