2 students killed in road crash

Sun News Desk: At least 2 people were killed after a motorcycle turned-turtle at Sreepur upazila of Gazipur on Friday.

The deceased are- Siam, 18, son of Solaiman, a resident of Fulbaria village in Kapasia upazila of the district and Shakil Hossain, 18, from Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj.

It was primarily known that both of them were the students of BGMEA College in Gazipur.

Sreepur Police Station officer in-charge Mohammad Moniruzzaman confirmed the matter.

He said a speeding motorcycle hits hard the railing of Dumni Pagla Bridge under Prahladpur union, leaving two riders dead on the spot.

Police have been sent to the spot. Legal steps would be taken in this regard.
