5 people burnt to death in Ctg

Sun News Desk: At least 5 people were burnt to death in a fire in their house in Rangunia upazila of Chattogram on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Kangal Boshak, 68, Lolita Boshak, 57, Lucky Boshak, 33, Shayanti Boshak, 6, and Sowrabh Boshak, 12.

Another member of the family, Khokon Boshak, 42, was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.

Agrabad Fire Service and Civil Defence deputy assistant director Abdul Hamid Mia confirmed the incident.

He said that firefighters reached the spot after getting the information and they could tame the flames around 4am.

Abu Bakar, sub-inspector of Rangunia police station, said the bodies of five members of the family were brought to the police station in the morning.
