2 killed as bus falls into ditch

Sun News Desk: At least 2 people were killed and 25 others injured as a bus fell into roadside ditch at Khagurta area in Dhamrai upazila of Dhaka on Saturday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The injured were admitted to the different local hospitals.

According to the police, a bus of Pratik Ceramic was going to its factory with the workers. The bus lost control and fell into the ditch in the area, leaving 2 of the passengers dead and 25 others injured.

Atiqur Rahman, Officer-in-charge of Dhamrai Police Station, said they recovered two bodies from the spot. However, their identities are yet to be confirmed.
