Now target of Smart Bangladesh

Sun News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday said Future Bangladesh will be Smart Bangladesh. We will move from digital Bangladesh to smart Bangladesh in 2041. This is our target now.

The prime minister said this while addressing a programme as the chief guest marking the Digital Bangladesh Dibos-2022 and distributing prizes among the winners of the online quiz competition and Digital Bangladesh Puruskar (award)-2022.

The prime minister said I am old. I can leave anytime. But I am not sitting. By planning, we are showing a beautiful path for the next generation. If we are alive, we will implement it, or our youth will do it.

Sheikh Hasina said that the future Bangladesh will be a smart Bangladesh. Four Basic Pillars of Smart Bangladesh. The smart citizen. Every citizen should be efficient and useful in using technology. Smart economy. All transactions and uses of our economy will depend on technology. Smart government. All government facilities and activities will be technology dependent, technology will be used everywhere. And finally Smart Society. Our entire society will be friendly with technology.

She said that no work has stopped during the Corona period because Digital Bangladesh has been made. From my office to courts, universities, government offices, everything was running virtually.

The Prime Minister also said that the father of the nation wanted to make this country a developed and prosperous country. My younger sister and I were not in the country on August 15, 1975. We survived. That escape was not a happy one. Because I lost my parents. People in Bangladesh had a dream. That dream was destroyed by the assassination of the father of the nation.
