Sun News Desk: A drug dealer was arrested along with 5 kg of ganja at Akhaura of Brahmanbaria on Thursday.

The arrested person is Akram (25). He is the son of the deceased Saju Mia from Pachabhala area of Jamalpur district Islampur.

Asadul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Akhaura Police Station confirmed this information. He said earlier in the special 24-hour anti-narcotics operation of the police, a raid was conducted in the Railway East Colony area of Akhaura municipality and he was arrested along with drugs.

Asadul Islam, Akhaura Police Station Officer-in-Charge OC, said that drug dealer Akram was arrested after receiving secret information. He also said that such operations will continue.
