Two killed in truck-auto clash

Sun News Desk : Two have been killed after a truck rammed into an autorickshaw in Jhalakathi on Monday.

The deceased are as Halima Begum, 35, and her daughter Chhoya Moni, 17.

Two more injured including the CNG-run autorickshaw driver are undergoing treatment at Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.

Locals said a truck carrying goods from Barguna to Barishal hit the autorickshaw in Protap Bazar area on the Barishal-Jhalakathi Road around 5am, leaving four critically injured.

Later, two of them succombed to their injuries at the hospital.
