Sun News Desk : The body of a woman, who along with her two children swept away in floodwater, has been recovered from Chhayar Haor in Shalla upazila of Sunamganj on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Durlav Rani Das, 30, and the two missing children are Jaba Rani Das, 7, and Vijay Das, 5.
After being informed, several diving teams of the fire service station had been conducting rescue operations from the night and recovered the body of the woman in the morning, said Sunamganj Fire Service and Civil Defense officials.

They also said the deceased's two children have not been found till now. Firefighters and local administration are working to rescue them.
Earlier on Monday evening, Durlav Rani Das and her two children have gone missing as floodwaters swept them away around 7.30 pm while they were crossing a submerged road adjacent to Shalla Government College.

Abu Taleb, Shalla Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), said that operation is still going on to rescue the children.
