Eid Train services start

Sun News Desk : Bangladesh Railway authorities began their first train services ahead of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha today.

'Dhumketu Express' train left Kamalapur station at its scheduled time at 6am with the home-bound commuters. The commuters too are traveling at ease.

A total of 52 pairs of trains including local and inter-service will operate on the first day through different destinations.

Dhaka Railway Station manager Mohammad Masud Sarwar said Standing tickets for 25 per cent of the total seats are being sold from counters. None are allowed to enter platform without tickets. Adequate security measures have been taken to ensure the safety of passengers' Eid journey.
