2 killed in road mishap

Sun News Desk: Two people were killed when a bus hit in the motorcycle in Cox's Bazar's Chakria on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Inzamam Ul Alam, a resident of Ward No. 8 Muhuri Para of Koyarbil Union of Rafi Upazila. The another deceased were identified as Mehrab Hossain Abi, his house is in Ward No. 2 Hajipara of the same union.

Didarul Islam, Chiringa Highway Police Outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), confirmed the matter.

He said that two friends were going to Harbang on a motorcycle at around 3:30 p.m. Inzamam died on the spot when a bus going to Cox's Bazar hit the motorcycle. On the other hand, Mehrab was seriously injured after falling on the side of the road. The injured Mehrab died on the way to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

He also said that the bus has been impounded. The body of the deceased college student has been handed over to the family.
