Sun New Desk : Two cotton-laden covered vans have been set on fire on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Salna in Gazipur on Thursday.

Abdus Samad, station officer of Gazipur Fire Service, said blockade supporters, riding on a private car and motorbike, intercepted the two cotton-carrying covered vans at 5:30 am at Salna and set fire to the vehicles pouring petrol on those.
On information, two fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.

No one was injured during the attack.
