Sun News Desk : At least 8 dengue patients died and 1,162 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Tuesday.

with the new number, the official death toll from dengue rose to 1,570 this year.

Among the new patients, 2295 were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and the rest outside it.

Some 4,174 dengue patients are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

So far, the DGHS has recorded 3,04,698 dengue cases, 2,98,950 recoveries, this year.
