Sun News Desk : Two people were killed and 3 injured in a collision between a covered van and private car at Basile of Tangail.

All injured were passengers of the private car. One of the deceased has been identified who is Syed of Ullapara Upazila in Sirajganj District. The name of the other was not known immediately.

Shafikul Islam Bhuia, Assistant Director of Tangail Fire Service, said that a truck overturned in the Dhaka-bound lane in the Gulla area of the Dhaka-Tangail highway. At that time, the private car hit the covered van from backside. Two passengers of the private car were killed on the spot. Three injured including the driver have been admitted to Tangail General Hospital.

Molla Tutul, OC of Gogai Highway Police Station said that after the legal process, the body has been handed over to the two families.
