DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE: On Saturday (February 3), the second day of Am Bayan is taking place at Biswa Ijtema in Tongi, Gazipur. The top scholars and mentors of Ijtema are listening to the speech to develop their faith, deeds and morals in a completely pure form in order to gain the pleasure of Allah.
The first phase of World Ijtema, the second largest gathering of the Muslim world, will end with the last prayer on Sunday (February 4). According to Ijtema sources, the last prayer will be held between 10 am and 11:30 am on Saturday.
Hedayeti will be recited before this. Hafez Maulana Zubair, the top rabbi of the World Tablighi Jamaat, is expected to conduct the final prayer on the advice of the top rabbis of the Tablighi Jamaat.
The organizers believe that about 35-40 lakh devotees will participate in the last prayer. In the first phase of Ijtema, the industrial city of Tongi has already turned into a religious city.
On Saturday morning, Tongi town and Ijtemasthal and its surrounding areas turned into a sea of people. The shores of Tongir's Turag are abuzz with the arrival of millions of pilgrims arriving for the World Ijtema.
On Saturday, there was a crowd of people in various vehicles including buses, trucks, trains and launches towards Tongi. This flow of people will continue until the last prayer on Sunday.
Dust, dirt, cold, rain and other adversities, everyone's attention is towards the speech of the scholars. And at the sound of Allahu Akbar, Tongir's Turag arrows are facing. After the Fajr prayer till the night there is continuous narration in different languages. Eminent scholars of the country and abroad are speaking on various topics.
The devout worshipers listened attentively to various discourses on faith, morals and deen. On the second day of the first phase, Saturday, after dawn, a very important speech in the light of the Holy Qur'an and Hadith was held for lakhs of worshipers at the Ijtema ground of Tongir on the Turag bank.
At the beginning of the second day of the first phase of World Ijtema, Maulana Abdul Rahman of India gave a speech to the Muslims after Fajr on Saturday, his speech was translated into Bengali by Maulana Abdul Mateen of Bangladesh.
Baad Zohar will be narrated by Maulana Ismail Godra of India. India's Maulana Zuhairul Hasan will deliver the speech. Marriage without dowry will take place except Baad Asr. Bad Maghrib will be narrated by Maulana Ibrahim Deola of India.
In the morning speech, Ulamaye Keram said, for eternal happiness and peace in the hereafter, each one of us should work hard in the work of religion while alive in this world. No one can be successful in the battle field without the hard work of faith.
It is said in the narration, the hard work of dawat is the hard work of prophethood. Those who do this hard work with Khulusiyat and Azmat, the virtues of any deed increase manifold.
Although the main speech in Ijtema is in Urdu, it is instantly translated into various languages including Bengali, English, Arabic, Tamil, Malay, Turkish and French for the multilingual worshipers who participate.
